Tokens

Every judge spends the same budget.

Give every judge the same number of tokens and let them spend that budget across the candidates. Plus adds tokens to an item. Minus takes them back. The report adds up what the jury spent.

How to use it

1. Set the budgetChoose how many tokens each judge starts with. A common brief is six tokens, spent as 3, 2, and 1.
2. Cap one itemOptional. Stop a judge from putting the whole budget on a single candidate.
3. Send the linkJudges open the same kind of private link as in a rating round.
4. Let them editThey can move tokens until you close the selection. A total that breaks the budget cannot be submitted.
5. Read the totalThe report sums the tokens, so a widely liked second choice can rank above one judge’s favourite.
